Returning to myself

With the program, I gained a greater ability to reflect on my feelings, the ability to take a step back from negative thoughts (observing thoughts as thoughts), greater acceptance of myself and my problems, the ability to stop and live in the present moment. Practicing mindfulness has given me a calmness and peace with experiences as they are, which I did not feel before the program and did not think I would ever be able to.
