Returning to myself

About me

My journey began with the study of psychotherapy and I was sure I would work as a psychotherapist. Individual and group processes in psychotherapy opened me up to new perspectives of myself, others and life. Shortly after this discovery, new worlds began to open for me when I got to know Buddhism and meditation in India. The mindfulness trainings, based on both Western psychology and Eastern Buddhist practices, expanded my horizons beyond what I thought existed. I gained permission to work in psychotherapy under supervision and had been successfully facilitating mindfulness courses for years, yet something was still missing. Feeling alive. I was looking for an expression of being fully alive, which for me comes from connecting with sexuality and expressing the body through movement, voice and dance.

My foundations

I found this at the VITA™ intensive training for coaches in the field of sex, love and relationships. Studying psychotherapy made me aware of the deep wounds we carry inside ourselves and that safely opening to them is only possible with a great deal of respect, ethics, integrity, continuous education and additional support. Buddhism and mindfulness opened my awareness to how unpredictable, mysterious and vast life really is, both outside and within us. This, in itself, brings an endless reservoir of aliveness, but something was still missing. I found this missing piece in the VITA™ training, which sets the foundations for the approach I use to design coaching programs. This is the third pillar, in addition to the knowledge of psychotherapy and mindfulness, that creates a stable base for my work which makes me feel alive.

I love long walks in nature with my dog Tia, where I sometimes dive into a river or lake. I enjoy dancing, by myself in the living room or with others. Currently, contact improvisation dance brings me a lot of satisfaction, playfulness, and a sense of feeling alive. Reading, listening to, and writing poetry is food for my soul. Travelling has always been my passion, exploring our beautiful Earth. I have no doubt that I will be called again to venture into the exploration of new places, cultures and myself.

My commitement

My life intention is to support the development of a more inclusive and accepting society. Therefore, all women and vulva bodied people, regardless of age, sexual orientation, gender identity, body ability, race, ethnicity, or religion are invited to work with me. I am aware that the desire to support a more inclusive society requires constant learning and is challenging at times. However, I am dedicated to continuously questioning concepts and ideologies and committed to understanding each individual with their unique experiences and needs as best as I can.
